St. Denis Catholic Church

Welcome to the Faith Formation program at St. Denis!

We are dedicated to teaching the truths of our faith to the youth of the parish.  Our goal is to help the youth form a firm foundation rooted in the Gospel from which love for Christ can grow.  With a strong knowledge of the faith, the youth will be more equipped to go out into the world and make a difference.  Our wonderful volunteers are the heart of our program.  Their hard work and dedication week after week are a true service to our parish and community.
We offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) for 5-6 year olds on Sundays  from 10:15 - 11:15 am.  We offer CGS for 3-6 year olds on Tuesday afternoons 3:30-5:00pm. First through Sixth Grade meet on Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:15 am.  First  and Second Grade classes are held in the parish hall,  Third to Sixth Grades meet in classrooms in Hanover High School. Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth grade classes are held twice a month from 5:00-6:30 pm.
First Penance is celebrated in 2nd grade and Confirmation and First Holy Communion are celebrated in Third Grade. Nonetheless, it is important that the children be involved in religious education each year. Faith formation is a lifelong journey for each of us.
